For each device you also need:
- battery holder with cable and plug
- laser-cut 2 mm pressboard backplane
- upper and lower spacers
- USB-C support
- battery compartment and cover
- display pull tab
- double-sided tape for the PCB and battery holder
- frame clips or turn buttons
Consumables
- black PETG-HF filament
- waterproof cyanoacrylate glue for the battery cover
- about 2 cm heat-shrink tubing per battery wire
- solder
- display cleaner and lint-free cloths
- protective paper, cushioning, and a shipping carton
- welcome flyer and setup card
The OpenPaper 7 hardware files include the mechanical models, fixtures, laser files, Gerbers, PCB BOM, and pick-and-place file.
Check the display code
Displays with the same size do not always use the same firmware. Check the exact display code before ordering or flashing a batch.
